Colour posts
Make a short announcement impossible to scroll past.
OperatorsA Color post renders short text large on a coloured background, instead of as ordinary text.
- Tap New Post and choose Color post.
- Write a short message — a sentence, not a paragraph.
- Pick a colour.
- Choose the audience and publish.
When to use one
- "No practice Monday — Thanksgiving"
- "Bus leaves at 7:15 sharp"
- "Registration closes Friday"
When not to
Anything that needs detail, a photo, or a link. Long text in a colour post is unreadable, and using them constantly removes the emphasis that makes them work.
Tip: One colour post a week, maximum. They work because they are unusual on the page.
