Terms of Service

1. What Bravo+ is

Bravo+ gives youth sports clubs the tools to run their programs — teams, schedules, attendance, points and levels, announcements and messages — and gives families, coaches and athletes one place to follow them.

Clubs are independent from Bravo+. Each club is responsible for its own programs, coaching, safety, fees and decisions. Any agreement about enrolment, fees or payment is between the family and the club; Bravo+ is not a party to it and does not process payments between families and clubs.

2. Your account

• You must be an adult to create a parent, coach or club account. Athletes aged 14 and over may have their own limited account, linked to their family.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account; tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
• When you create a profile for a child, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorized to do so.

3. Clubs and paid plans

• Club owners may use Bravo+ on a free plan or subscribe to a paid plan with more features. Prices and features are shown before you subscribe.
• Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid.
• Amounts already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
• A club owner is responsible for the people they invite as coaches or team admins, and for how their club uses the information of the families in it.

4. What you post

• You keep ownership of the posts, photos, comments and messages you share. You allow Bravo+ to store, display and, when a reader asks, translate them, only to provide the service.
• Only share what you have the right to share. A child may appear in a photo only if that child's parent has allowed photo sharing in Bravo+; coaches and clubs must respect each family's choice.
• Clubs may review posts before they are published and may remove content from their feeds.

5. Acceptable use

When using Bravo+, you agree not to:

• harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against anyone;
• post content that is illegal, sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate for a service used by children;
• share another person's personal information without their consent;
• pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your relationship to a child or a club;
• try to access accounts or data that are not yours, disrupt the service, or copy it by automated means;
• use Bravo+ to send advertising or unsolicited messages.

If you see something that worries you about a child's safety, tell the club and write to us. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Translation

Posts can be translated automatically between French and English. Machine translation can be imperfect; the original text is always the reference.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Bravo+ available and secure, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or by events beyond our control. We may add, change or remove features; if a change removes something a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance.

8. Ending your use of Bravo+

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & Data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.

9. Responsibility

Bravo+ is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the decisions, programs or conduct of clubs, coaches or other users, or for indirect losses arising from the use of Bravo+. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Quebec, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.

12. Changes to these Terms

When we change these Terms, we update the date at the top. We will tell you about important changes in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Bravo+ after that means you accept the new Terms.
