How can we help?

Posting an event to the feed with RSVP

Get replies by putting the event where parents already are.

Operators

An event can live in the schedule and on the feed at once.

  1. When creating or editing the event, turn on Show on the Feed.
  2. Turn on Attending? to request replies.
  3. Set a Reply deadline.
  4. Save.

The event appears in the feed with an Event badge and Yes / No / Maybe buttons inline. Parents answer without leaving the feed.

After the deadline

Replies close and the card shows RSVP closed. Anyone who tapped nothing is recorded as No answer, which is information too.

When to use RSVPs

Use them when the number changes what you do — a tournament, a bus, a team meal. Do not use them for every weekly practice; parents stop answering, and then the one that matters gets ignored too.

Tip: Set the deadline a day earlier than you need. The reminder value of a closing deadline is worth more than the extra day.
