Fixing a point award
What to do about a wrong athlete, category or amount.
EntraîneursAwards are part of an athlete's record and the family has already been notified, so they are not silently editable.
If you awarded the wrong athlete
Award the correct athlete straight away, and say what happened in the note. If the wrong child's parent asks, tell them plainly — a mistake explained is fine, a mystery is not.
If the amount or category was wrong
For a small slip, leave it and be accurate next time. Point totals are a rough signal, not an audit.
If it is serious
Ask your operator. Operators can see all awards for the club and can escalate to support where a record genuinely needs correcting.
Deactivating a category
Awards already made in a deactivated category are kept, and still count toward the athlete's total. Removing the category does not rewrite history.
Tip: The best defence is the pause before the tap. Check the athlete's name on the confirmation screen — the picker is a list of children, and neighbouring names get chosen.
