Awarding points
Recognise an athlete in about fifteen seconds.
Entraîneurs- Open Award Points from the coach dashboard.
- Choose the team, then the athlete.
- Choose the category.
- Set how many points.
- Add a note — optional, and the part that matters.
- Tap Award Points.
You see "Points awarded to {name}!" and their guardians get "{name} earned points!" with the category and amount.
The note
Write what actually happened. "Kept going after two falls on the beam" is a sentence a parent reads twice. "Good effort" is not.
How many points
Keep the scale small and consistent — most clubs use 1 to 5. Inflation makes totals meaningless, and children compare.
If the categories are missing
"No point categories set up. Ask your operator to configure them." Nothing can be awarded until the operator adds at least one.
Tip: Award during the session, not after. Points awarded on the drive home are points that stop being awarded by week six.
