Canadian residency, and why it matters here.
OperatorsBravo+ stores personal data in Canada. Databases, file storage for photos and documents, and the chat backend are all hosted in Canadian regions.
Why it matters
Law 25 requires an assessment before personal information leaves Quebec, and many clubs answer to school boards, municipalities or federations that require Canadian residency outright. Keeping it in Canada removes the question.

What crosses a border
Machine translation sends the text of a post to a translation service — which is why it is consent-gated and why the consent screen says exactly that. Push notifications are delivered through Apple and Google.
Telling families
If a parent asks where their child's data lives, the answer is Canada, with the two exceptions above. Putting that in your club's privacy notice saves the question being asked.
