What a skill framework is
The ladder of levels an athlete moves up at your club.
GestionnairesA skill framework is your club's progression ladder: the ordered list of levels an athlete moves through, from beginner to whatever your top level is called. Belts, stars, groups, stages — the shape is yours.
Why define one
- Parents can see where their child is and what comes next
- Coaches promote against a shared standard instead of a personal one
- Promotions become a moment worth celebrating, on the feed and on the wall
- Families stay: visible progress is the single best predictor of a child continuing
What a level carries
A name in English and in French, a position in the order, and optionally a list of criteria describing what an athlete must show to reach it.
One framework per club
Each club has one framework, shared by every team. Coaches promote within it; only the operator can change it.
Tip: If your sport already has a recognised progression — belts, badge levels, a federation syllabus — use it rather than inventing one. Parents already understand it.
