Starting a conversation
Message a parent or a coach directly.
Gestionnaires- Open the Messages tab.
- Tap New Conversation.
- Choose Direct Message.
- Pick the person.
- Type and send.
They get a New message from {name} notification with a preview.
Who you can message
Coaches can message parents and coaches on their own teams. Operators can message anyone in their club. Parents can message the coaches of their children's teams — not each other.
What to use it for
Anything about one child: an injury, an absence, a concern, a fee question. These belong in a direct message, never in a feed comment.
Enquiries
Enquiries from your public club page also arrive here, under Messages › Enquiries. Reply in the thread and the conversation stays in one place.
Tip: If you find yourself sending the same direct message to eight parents, it wanted to be a feed post.
